Edukasi Pemanfaatan Jamur Tiram dalam Pemberdayaan Forest Bathing di Desa Wisata Lerep Ungaran Barat Kabupaten Semarang
Abstract
White oyster mushroom is a mushroom that can be consumed as a source of protein and vitamin D. High nutritional content and relatively cheap price make white oyster mushroom an alternative food diversification that needs to be optimized for processing. Various studies have concluded that white oyster mushrooms can increase their vitamin D content by exposure to sunlight. The purpose of this activity is for Pokdarwis Cadres Rukun Santoso, Lerep Village, West Ungaran to increase their knowledge about the benefits and processing of oyster mushrooms and to improve their health because education is packaged as forest bathing empowerment activities. The method of implementing this activity was educating to 20 health cadres from Pokdarwis. Before and after the education and forest bathing empowerment activities, participants were tested for their level of knowledge and checked for lung and heart health. Differences in knowledge level and lung and heart health scores before and after the activity were tested by paired t test. The test results show that there was a significant difference (p value <0.05) from the participants knowledge score results, and the oxygen saturation measurement results, but there was no significant difference (p value >0.05) from the participants heart health examination results.
