KORELASI NILAI CT (CYCLE THRESHOLD) DENGAN TINGKAT KEPARAHAN COVID-19 DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM SULTAN AGUNG KOTA SEMARANG
Abstract
COVID-19 merupakan penyakit infeksi saluran nafas pada manusia dan hewan,yang disebabkan oleh virus SARS-CoV-2, virus tersebut dapat menular ketika berkontak langsung dengan partikel cairan saluran pernafasan penderita COVID-19. Uji swab RT-PCR menjadi baku emas pemeriksaan COVID-19 menggunakan sampel saluran nafas atas, hasilnya dapat dinyatakan secara kualitatif positif dan negative yang berdasarkan nilai CT yang dihasilkannya. Nilai CT secara tidak langsung dapat menggambarkan jumlah materi genetik virus (viral load) sampel, semakin rendah nilai CT artinya semakin sedikit siklus yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan nilai positif, berarti semakin banyak viral load pada sampel. Bukti sebelumnya menunjukan semakin rendah nilai CT (viral load tinggi) semakin tinggi tingkat keparahan COVID-19. Oleh karena itu pada artikel ini, penelitian ingin mengetahui korelasi antara nilai CT dengan tingkat keparahan COVID-19.
Penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional menggunakan data sekunder pasien COVID-19 rawat inap RSISA Semarang periode Januari-Juli 2021 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi penelitian. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan didapatkan 47 sampel. Data penelitian berskala ordinal dianalisis dengan uji spearman menggunakan SPSS versi 27.
Hasil uji bivariat spearman tidak didapatkan korelasi signifikan antara nilai CT dengan tingkat keparahan COVID-19 dengan nilai p sig. 0.308 (p >0.05).
Tidak didapatkan korelasi antara nilai CT dengan tingkat keparahan COVID-19 pada pasien terkonfirmasi COVID-19 di RSISA Semarang.
