Upaya Pencegahan Stroke melalui Skrining Skor Risiko Stroke dengan Intervensi Penyuluhan dan Pemeriksaan Faktor Risiko Stroke di Kelurahan Bojong Salaman Kecamatan Pusponjolo Selatan Semarang Barat
Abstract
Berdasarkan total skoring risiko stroke didapatkan 20 orang (36,4%) memiliki risiko stroke tinggi, 29 orang (52,9% memiliki risiko stroke sedang dan sisanyanya 6 orang (10,9%) memiliki risiko stroke rendah.
Stroke is a functional disorder of the brain with various clinical manifestations, all of which occur suddenly due to interruption of cerebral blood flow. In Indonesia, stroke is the main cause of death and disability. Promotive and preventive needed to reduce morbidity and mortality. Screening was carried out on eight risk factors for stroke, namely blood pressure, heart rhythm, smoking status, cholesterol levels, diabetes mellitus, exercise, body mass index and family history of stroke. This community dedication activity was attended by 55 elderly people, 21 men (38.2%) and women (61.8%). Based on the degree of stroke risk, 20 people (36.4%) had a high stroke risk, 29 people (52.9% had a moderate stroke risk and the remaining 6 people (10.9%) had a low stroke risk. The high prevalence of stroke in Indonesia is due to the large geriatric population who are in the moderate to high stroke risk group (89.1 Moderate to high risk groups should immediately receive therapy to prevent future strokes. It is hoped that the stroke risk card in community service can be used for various levels of health facilities and layers of society independently and continuously and prevent stroke events.
