Abstract

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of financing gap on firm’s financial structure (FS). In this regard, the research framework divides financing gap into four dimensions, namely: demand gap (DG), supply gap (SG), knowledge gap (KG) and empathy gap (EG). This study uses primary data as a basis for conducting empirical analysis. The sample to be used in this study is MSME owners in Central Java Province who have applied for financing through formal financial institutions (such as banks, Credit Union or other formal financial institutions). The results that can be concluded through the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique are that demand gap (DG) and knowledge gap (KG) do not have a significant effect on the MSME’s financial structure, while supply gap (SG) and empathy gap (EG) have a significant effect on the MSME’s financial structure.

Keywords: MSMEs, Financing gap, Financing constraints, Entrepreneurial finance.

Keywords: UMKM, Kesenjangan Pembiayaan, Kendala Pembiayaan, Pembiayaan Wirausaha.
