Law Enforcement Against Children Perpetrating Violent Crimes Which Result in the Victim's Death (Analysis of the Semarang Regency District Court Decision Number: 7/Pid.Sus-Anak/2021/Pn.Unr)
Abstract
This research aims to determine the factors that cause children to commit violent crimes that result in the victim's death and law enforcement against children who commit violent crimes that result in the victim's death in the Sragen District Court Decision Number: 5/Pid.Sus-Anak/2023/PN. Sgn. The research method used is a normative legal research method or prescriptive doctrinal legal research. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there were several factors that caused physical violence between upperclassmen and lowerclassmen, namely internal factors regarding what was within the perpetrator and external factors originating from outside the perpetrator such as his environment. The Sragen District Court judge's consideration in making his decision was based on the legal facts carried out by the defendant through examination of the defendant's statement and the evidence presented at trial and connected to the elements charged by the Public Prosecutor.
