Effectiveness of Determining Business Process Maps in Preventing Maladministration in the Delivery of Public Services

Abstract


This research aims to examine the effectiveness of determining business process maps in preventing maladministration as an effort to achieve excellent public services. This research method uses a normative juridical approach by reviewing literature, research results and statutory regulations. In this research, the business process map functions as a reference for government agencies in carrying out tasks and functions effectively and efficiently, as well as being a knowledge asset that integrates and documents in detail the business processes carried out to achieve the vision, mission and goals that form the basis of decision making. strategic related to organizational development and human resources. In practice, government activities, especially those involving public services, are considered by the public to be slow, complicated and do not comply with procedures, which is known as maladministration. Excellent public service as the ultimate goal of government activities is not solely guided by service standards alone. There are still business processes that should be guided in the implementation of duties and functions as well as the implementation of public services as well as a reference in determining service standards.
