Abstract
This study aims to examine the contract transformation in the digital era within the online kebaya rental business, focusing on @roselle.attire. The study addresses two main issues: the procedures and implementation of electronic contracts and legal protection for consumers. This research employs a juridical-sociological approach, involving observation and understanding of real-life situations related to legal and social issues. This approach combines primary data obtained through interviews with respondents and secondary data from literature, documents, and relevant archives. The research was conducted at Roselle Attire in Semarang, with data collection methods including observation, structured interviews, and document analysis. The collected data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach to provide a systematic and in-depth understanding of the research object. The results show that @roselle.attire has developed electronic contracts that cover crucial aspects of the rental process, utilizing secure digital platforms for transactions and implementing privacy policies and data security systems. Furthermore, they comply with regulations in line with the Consumer Protection Law and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, including transparent product information, clear return policies, and protection of customers' personal data. These practices ensure legal compliance, build trust, and enhance customer satisfaction, which are essential for business sustainability. This study provides insights into business adaptation in the digital era concerning contracts and consumer protection, and recommends further research on the impact of regulations and the need for legal adaptations to technological advancements.
