Focus and Scope

IJIBE (International Journal of Islamic Business Ethics) is a peer-review journal published twice a year (March and September) by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Sultan Agung. IJIBE showcases innovative and practical scientific methods through accessible and systematic writing styles, making the content easily understandable for a diverse audience.

Peer Review Process

Submitted papers are evaluated by the reviewers for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. An article will be reviewed by two reviewers. Manuscripts evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to double blind reviewers. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer’s recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, require major revision, need minor revision, or accepted. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, possibly in 6 to 8 weeks.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles.  We are continuously working with our author communities to select the best choice of license options, currently being defined for this journal as Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA).
