Health Education in Increasing Knowledge for Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) and First Aid for Accidents (P3K) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Huda, Kangkung Village
Abstract
The role of Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) in several schools is still not optimal, one of which is MI Miftahul Huda. This is proven by the level of knowledge of school children regarding clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and first aid for accidents (P3K) which is still lacking. UKS is important in advancing school health by optimizing the UKS Trias program through PHBS and P3K health education. Health education aims to increase children's knowledge about PHBS and P3K. The methods used include lectures, demonstrations, and simulations. The target is all students in grades 1, 2, and small doctors. The media used are PowerPoint slides, animated videos, toothbrush and paste, mouth phantoms, and first aid kits. The results of the activity showed that before education, the level of children's knowledge about PHBS was 57% in the poor category and after education, it was 59% in the good category. Children's knowledge about first aid is 64% in the sufficient category, and after education, 82% is in the good category. This shows that there has been an increase in children's knowledge status after health education was carried out
