Efforts to Improve Human Resource Performance Through Transformational Leaders and Intrinsic Motivation
Abstract
Abstract. The HR Planners in West Kotawaringin Regency are also obliged to maintain the consistency of the planning that has been made so that it remains within the corridor that has been approved and is mutually known, in achieving the vision, mission and goals of the region. This is where it is important why a planner must be educated, skilled, disciplined, diligent, willing to work hard and loyal to the leader. In relation to employee performance, there are several factors that influence employee performance, including leadership factors, intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction. This research is a quantitative research (Explanatory research), the sample used in this study was all SKPD planners in West Kotawaringin Regency in 2023 with a sample size of 101 people taken using total sampling. The analysis method used in this study is Partial least square (PLS-SEM) with the Smart PLS 3.0 analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that there is no positive and significant influence of transformational leadership on the performance of HR Planners in West Kotawaringin Regency. There is a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership and intrinsic motivation. There is a positive and significant influence between intrinsic motivation and human resource performance.
