Every article that is sent to Journal Planologi will be double-blind review peer reviewed. The decision whether the submitted article will be published or not is determined by the editors forum based on the comments from reviewers. An Examining of plagiarism will be done with the help of Google Scholar and Turnitin System.

Manuscript processing time in Journal Planologi:

1. The author has 1-2 month waiting period on the first article submission, the editor will decide whether the article needs to be revised or not.
2. Editor needs 7 days to examine the article based on Journal Planologi author guideline.
3. Author has 7 days to revise the article consistent with the Journal Planologi author guideline.
4. The revised article given to the editor to be reviewed, the editorial team needs 14 days to finish the review.
5. If the article Declined, section editor has 7 days to inform the author regarding the editorial team decision.
6. If the article Revision Required, editorial team will proceed the article to the reviewer.
7. Reviewer has 30 days to review the article divided into two times review and provide the decision, Accepted or Declined
8. The editorial team discusses the final decision in an editorial team meeting whether the articles recommended by the reviewers proceed to be Published or Declined. The editorial team has 20 days to make the final decision.
9. The soon-to-be-published articles, lay-outed by the section editor for 30 days.
10. Section editor or editor publishes the accepted articles.

• Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not allowed.
• The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.
• An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.
• Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.

The Working Process:

1. Editorial Team of Jurnal Planologi will check the manuscript on offline and online database manually (checking proper citation and quotation);
2. Editorial Team will check manuscripts submitted using TURNITIN and Google-based search engines. Depending on the level of originality and similarities with other documents, Chief Editor along with Section Editors will decide on whether to immediately reject the manuscripts, contact authors for further clarifications, or to proceed to the blind peer-review process.
