class Author Guidelines

1. General Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted to Jurnal Planologi Editorial Office by Online Submission at E-Journal portal address:

http://jurnal.unissula.ac.id/index.php/psa/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions

where author register as Author and/or offered as Reviewer by online. If authors have any problems on the online submission, please contact Editorial Office at the following email: jurnalplanologi@unissula.ac.id.

 

2. Manuscript Template

Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the article template:

3. Reviewing of manuscripts

Every submitted paper is independently reviewed (blind peer-reviewers). Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendations. If reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within one-two months of the submission date.

 

4. Revision of manuscripts

Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface (http://jurnal.unissula.ac.id/index.php/psa) or  email: jurnalplanologi@unissula.ac.id. The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.

 

5. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

1)      Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.

2)      It consists of title, author’s name, institution, email address, abstract, key words, content and references.

3)      The title must be clear, precise and no more than 14 words.

4)      The author does not need to include the academic title.

5)      Manuscript should be typed in MS document format with Times New Roman, size 12 pts, one and a half space, A4 paper roughly 15 to 25 pages

6)      All submission must include 150-250 words abstract and 3-5 keywords. The abstract of research paper should contain title, purpose, method, and research finding. Meanwhile the abstract of non-research paper includes title, purpose, and discussion.

7)      It must be typed in Microsoft Word with RTF (Rich Text Format) or Doc. (Word Document) and sent to the redaction via email by using file attachment.

8)      Abstracts of research papers are shaped in English and Indonesian, abstracts of research should contain the title, objectives, methods, and research findings.

9)      Reference list format is based on APA (American Psychological Association) style or Mendeley.

AUTHOR FEE

Jurnal Planologi will not charge anything to the author for submission fee or publication fee.
 

COMMITMENT TO ANTIPLAGIARISM
All submitted manuscripts will be double-checked for plagiarism using at least two anti-plagiarism softwares Google Scholar and Turnitin detection of plagiarism. Depending on the level of originality and similarities with other documents, the managing editor will decide on whether to immediately reject the manuscripts, contact authors for further clarifications, or to proceed to the blind peer-review process..

message Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
